- Was running Domino 8.5 HF211 (32-bit) without a problem on Windows 2008 x64.
- Upgrade completed successfully.
- After reboot, scontroller.exe, nservice.exe and jconsole.exe all failed to load with DEP errors.
- All errors were similar to: "Faulting application scontroller.exe, version 8.5.10.9271, time stamp 0x4ac1ac7b, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, time stamp 0x00000000, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x00000000, process id 0xf1c, application start time 0x01ca5847bcf95391"
- In my case, I set DEP to only run on "essential Windows programs and services", rebooted, but Domino would still not load.
I didn't try to re-run the setup - I wish I had, because I instead downgraded back to 8.5.
@Irina - I hadn't made any changes to DEP settings prior to installing 8.5.1
